In January 2008, I completed a continuing education course that had been a source of inspiration for a few months. I missed the regular — almost daily — electronic interaction with colleagues from across Ontario, and the infusion of ideas into my own teaching practice. This, along with the fact that I wanted to document and reflect on my own journey as a teacher, is what launched The Lamppost Blog.
The blog has since expanded to include an online space for me to share resources that I’ve been testing in the classroom. The resources posted here are licensed under a creative commons attribution-only license, which means that you can use them in any way that you wish as long as you acknowledge me (Brad W.) and/or The Lamppost as the source.
I should note that the ideas and opinions expressed on The Lamppost are my own, and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer.
