About
In January 2008, I completed a continuing education course that had been a source of inspiration for a few months. I missed the regular — almost daily — electronic interaction with colleagues from across Ontario, and the infusion of ideas into my own teaching practice. This, along with the fact that I wanted to document and reflect on my own journey as a teacher, is what launched The Lamppost Blog.
This is my personal-professional journal. The ideas and opinions expressed here are my own, and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer.
My intent is to reserve this space for reflection and ideas. If you are interested in seeing some of the products — lesson plans, course outlines, unit plans — connected to all of this reflection, you may wish to check out some of the resources available here. All resources are licensed under a Creative Commons license, which means that they may be used for non-commercial purposes as long as they are attributed to The Lamppost or its author/owner, Brad W.
Feel free to contact me with any ideas, suggestions, or other feedback that you may have.
